The Blue Hills

If you have the chance to get down to Boston and would like to do some biking while you're in town, the Blue Hills Reservation is a great spot to spend the day cruising through over 7,000 acres of forests and fields.

This place is designed with the mountain biker or day hiker in mind, with tons of trails all over this vast reservation, which offers excellent views of the Boston skyline, the mountains of western Massachusetts, and even our beloved Mount Washington on a clear day!

This place is great if you happen to have a dog, too. Be sure to check out the stone structures up at the summit, and the working weather observatory.

This place doubles as a fully-functioning ski area during the winter... the closest one to Boston!

The White Mountains of New Hampshire is another fantastic spot for mountain biking, no matter what your skill level.
